Hotel Metropolitan is a historic landmark in the heart of Long Beach, CA. Built in 1922 and redesigned in 1933. Hotel Metropolitan is widely known for its elegant Streamline Moderne design.
The building embodies many of the distinctive characteristics associated with Streamline Moderne. The style structure retains a level of integrity and several original features including original bays, many of the original windows, “speedline” inspired horizontal banding and original fire escapes.
